OPTIPACK is certified according to DIN EN ISO 22000:2018. Every day we acknowledge our comprehensive responsibility as a manufacturer of primary packaging materials for food packaging in the supply chain. Therefore, compliance with food and legal regulations is a matter of course for us.
Our management system for food safety includes, among other things, the preparation of hazard analyses and risk assessments in accordance with HACCP according to the principles of the Codex Alimentarius, the installation of preventive programmes for the avoidance of hazards, the regular performance of hygiene audits and microbiological tests of various kinds. All raw materials are tested for all relevant requirements by independent, accredited laboratories before use and approved.
Our food safety group – consisting of experts from the fields of chemistry, process technology, development and the dairy industry – regularly reviews the food safety management system for appropriateness and topicality and continuously develops it further in order to be well prepared for future challenges.
