The certification of Optipack GmbH according to DIN EN ISO 22200:2005 in September 2008 proved that we are aware of the responsibility we bear as producers of primary packaging to package food in the chain of supply.
Observance of the food law requirements is for us a matter of course.
Our management system for food safety includes carrying out risk analyses and risk assessments according to HACCP (Codex Alimentarius), installing preventive programmes for hazard avoidance, regularly implementing hygiene audits and all kinds of microbiological tests.
Our food safety group – consisting of experts from the fields of chemistry, process technology, development and the dairy industry – regularly checks the management system for food safety for adequacy and actuality and continually develops it further to ensure it is well-equipped for future challenges. |
