We can solve this classic trade-off! One possibility is the Supershorty Neck PCO1881. You save up to 2 grams, but only on the neck. The body of the bottle remains just as stable.

We have been able to achieve further weight reduction through optimisation of the preform geometry and bottle geometry, the use of alternative barrier materials and close cooperation with our business partners. A current example is a 22-gram preform for beer bottles which used to weigh 26 grams.
